Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Prana+Therapy, sustainability is at the core of our beliefs and practices. We care deeply about the future of our planet and are proud that our versatile formula, capable of over 100 different uses, can replace many other products (we have counted at least 60). However, we knew that having a sustainable formula was just the beginning. Reducing our environmental footprint through sustainable packaging is equally important to us.

What Makes Our Packaging Sustainable?

  1. Refillable Containers:

    • Our Prana+Therapy formula is packaged in refillable containers made of aluminum. Aluminum is chosen for its ability to be recycled multiple times, making it one of the most valuable and recyclable materials available.
    • We also offer our formula in bulk containers to reduce waste and allow customers to refill their own containers.

  2. Local Refill Stations:

    • We now have a refill station at our Mangawhai. This model is one we aim to roll out across New Zealand, and eventually throughout Australia, UK and the US, encouraging a reduction in single-use packaging and promoting sustainable practices.

  3. Non-Leaching Materials:

    • All our containers, are carefully sourced by Kimberley to maintain the integrity of our formula and protect our customers from harmful BPA and BBP (Butyl Benzyl Phthalate) exposure.

  4. Sustainable Labels:

    • Our Prana+Therapy labels are plant-based, made from sugar cane. They are compostable and biodegradable.                                               

Our vision extends beyond just offering a sustainable product. We aim to:
